I adore creating and collecting one-of-a-kind OOAK folk and outsider art. Art moves every single step I take...it is my OCD. I wouldn't change a thing~
Being that I used the random number generator to choose the winner, I also decided to add a random picture to show you a little bit of what can happen when you are in my world!
The Naked Cowboy is an entertainer who started as a local city guy who needed to make money. So he strapped on his tighty whities, cowboy hat, boots & guitar and stands in the center of Times Square strutting his stuff. He has become quite popular and I will never forget the 1st time I saw an almost naked man singing in the center of Times Square. His butt always reads "Naked Cowboy". Nothing to do? Google images has some funny shots.
First let me begin with my choice for Artist of the Month who ROCKS!!!!
Not only does this girl make the absolute sweetest papier mache sculptures that you just drool over each and everyone but she is a sweetheart too! I found this lil gem of a sculptor on Flickr last year and will never forget staring at her pieces wondering how she got them to look like that perfect! I feel so honored to have her as a SpookyTime Jingles artist as well!
Not only is your imagination awesome and as sweet as cotton candy but your craftwomanship is OUTSTANDING! I will continue to add your work to my growing collection for as long as you will have me!

Now for the Giveaway!!!
To enter you must comment on this post and tell me your all time favorite song and by what artist. I know it is hard to pick just one but you MUST pick one that you feel a strong connection to and share it with the rest of us.
Mine has been since I was 15 years old (now 36) "She talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes. Not sure why but I just love that song dearly.
Just this lil Devil left, NOT ANYMORE...He is now sold and I will miss him greatly! He is my Favorite! DO not ask me where the idea for a Cabaret Devil came from , I have NO clue!
I just placed my next batch of ornaments on Flickr for people to see and they are all almost gone. I am thoroughly at a loss for words that don't sound old, repeated and expected. For me there are NO words to show just how grateful I am to each and every single one of you for helping me with my art through, tips, blogs, purchases and support. Being an artist IS NOT always easy but it is usually a blast and I would not change a thing.
Some of you may have seen my farewell party video posted below to "Miss Kim" from Duluth, Georgia thanking her for giving 11 of my baby creepsters ornaments such a good home. Well I was near tears when she wrote to me today about their arrival.

Kim, you have touched me deeply not because you buy my art but because you connect with it as much as I do! You RAWK, Miss Kim!!!
These last few weeks have been exhilarating and exhausting with the birth of my new baby, SpookyTime Jingles. With this process came much neglect of my family duties, as well as my volunteer work as a first responder for people in crisis from sexual assault & domestic abuse.
In the last 6 weeks I have been called on countless calls to respond as an advocate/counselor for victims and I just could not go. Fatigue, obligations, etc...
Anyway, my point to this is that Sexual Assault is a silent epidemic in this country and across the world. Domestic abuse is also somehow ignored or passed over as "well she or he could just leave". It is just not that simple.
Please watch this amazing 2 minute trailer of the Finding Angela Shelton Documentary. You may have seen her on Oprah, 48 hours, Larry King and countless other media outlets, as she is "The big mouth warrior" against abuse.
Angela Shelton is a survivor of childhood sexual assault by her father. She decided to see what would happen if she looked for other Angela Shelton's across the US to see what their lives are like. The results were stunning. Over 70% of the 60+ Angela Shelton's she interviewed had been victims of sexual or domestic abuse.
Talk to your children about touching and safety and raise your boys to value women. The more we talk about it, the harder it will be to sweep it under the rug.
The entire documentary DVD and her new book are available should you be so inclined.
1 in 6 will be sexually assaulted before they are 16 years old! 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime.
OVER 70% are by a friend or relative of the family!!!
Finally,
Here is a link to the full story about a mother and her 3 children and how they got away from their violent sexual abuser of a father. They have asylum in another country from the UNITED STATES!!! The mother is now sought by the FBI to be imprisoned for removing the children from their father who the last time he had them fractured the babies skull. You can help by signing a petition to let them come back to the US without being jailed.
