The Saddest Thing I Own- BLOG

I stumbled on this gripping short story blog while searching for images of The Bride of Frankenstein.
It is a collection of life's saddest objects, their sad stories, and our reasons for holding onto these sad things.

The Saddest Thing I Own is a 2005 commission of New Radio and Performing Arts, Inc., (aka Ether-Ore) for its Turbulence web site. It is supported by the Jerome Foundation in celebration of the Jerome Hill Centennial and in recognition of the valuable contributions of artists to society.

I thought it was such a unique and honest approach to art and life and I wanted to share that with you. Some stories are quite sad, so be aware if you are feeling sad or sensitive yourself. Certainly a quick yet worthy read.

yes that was a worthwhile read. I think we all have something like that (maybe not for the same reasons). As a crude comparison serial kills keep trophies to remind them of their highs, we keep trophies to remind us of our lows. The unforgiving sympathetic mind. The trail of bread crombs that follow us from our past and lead the way to our future.

thanks for sharing Dani
